Lunar New Year Celebration 2024

IBMC will be celebrating the Lunar New Year on February 18, 2024. The celebration will begin at our usual time of 11AM and include paritta chanting from the IBMC monks as well as guest monks from other temples in the Los Angeles area. There will be a memorial service in honor of Ven. Thich Tien-An, Ven. Karuna Dharma, Ven. Dr. Havanpola Ratanasara, and Ven. Nepalaye Vineetha and other departed members of IBMC. Dana will be offered to the monks and then everyone can enjoy a lunch of Sri Lankan and Vietnamese food provided by the temple.

This is a wonderful occasion to spend time with the community at IBMC including monks, dharma teachers, and members. Let us celebrate the New Year together!
